I need help!!! This summer I was the smallest I’ve been in years!I’d lost -113lbs... BUT!!! I’ve gained 28lbs back I’ve lost ALL motivation or will power. Recently found out my B12, iron and red blood count are low... now being sent to gynecologist for “womanly” issues and been struggling bad with depression from it . I don’t feel good AT ALL , I hate looking in mirror, I don’t want to be seen in public! HELP!!! Any advice or anything to make me wanna get back!????? Thanks guys
You can absolutely get back on track if you understand that whether you lose or gain weight you are still loveable and not a failure. You are fighting a disease. Obesity is a disease. it is fucking hard to lose weight and keep it off but that does not mean you cannot do it!
You can absolutely lose weight when you detach emotionally from it being your worth as a person! Detach from the outcome and make yourself feel safe to lose weight. If you are struggling with overeating emotionally, I might be able to give you some tips to help reduce that. Maybe understanding why it is you to go to food would be helpful. It is complicated disorder that is both psychological and physical in nature. You have to fight both urges if you want to reduce body weight. Focus on what you still have lost. Don't look at gaining the 28 lbs back as failure. Last October I was the smallest I had been since my 20's. I've gained 12 lbs since then. That might not seem bad but I'm 5'1 and it all counts. I've just started back to the gym and measuring everything. I've got my own women issues too so if you ever want to chat inbox me. Endemetrios, cysts,fibroids....ect. Remember just do it for yourself.
Write down your “why’s”. For me, just the superficial stuff doesn’t work (or only works temporarily). I write things like: more energy and feel lighter, feet & knees not to hurt, be an example to my kids etc. Then focus on those whys. All. The. Time. When the cravings hit, think... is this fitting into what I want most of all or just for this fleeting moment.
Stay EXCITED about losing weight!! Please try not to focus on past slip ups. I’m telling myself this same thing right now per last couple of days but I know is very hard. (PMs makes me crave everything) for so many years and years I wouldn’t give into temptation but now At age 53 give into this. Must stop. Anyway you can do this. Keep one article of your starting clothing you will be glad you did for before pic! I slowly lost 130 lbs before 260 2001
What ever you do DO NOT start hiding from others beyond your home.... the realization that part of truly living is getting out among others will eventually give you the mental boost you need... the more you let yourself hid the more you will slip back into old habits. We all fall off the wagon and get frustrated but don’t let that rule your future. 26/28 to 10/12 down 110lbs with a 10lbs bounce back but I just get up every morning weigh and tape measure like usual and believe today I will be strong enough to get back on track. NEVER GIVE UP💕💕💕
How good did it feel to buy those new shorts in that size??? It can feel good again ...just don't quit ! It's never over as long as you don't quit! Maybe look for something else in another area of your life you could get into, learn or do & get some basic excitement back in your life 😁
To be honest. I feel the same way. Im un college and classes daily. I did that to make me go out of the house or id be a recluse. I lost 85lbs and in a matter of months gained back 50.
Depression and Anxiety have me wound so tight i have teeth issues from grinding my teeth.
I understand the struggle of getting back into the mold of good health. Im still struggling myself. I wish you good luck on your journey.

When your iron is low its hard to drop weight. Thats what always happens to me and I gain weight on top and B12 deficiency can cause depression you should start taking vitamin B12 supplemts to help
Hard to have energy and take care of yourself when your blood levels are off. That has to be corrected to move forward! I do much better when my iron is within range! When it’s off and I don’t have a lot of energy to cook etc I drink a good protein shake to keep up on my protein and keep metabolism going.
Need to give yourself a good boot up the ass! You only get one life. Don’t mess it up! Think of all these people that don’t get to experience life or are critically ill or disabled.
All that stands between you and your slimmer more confident self in your mind. If you believe in yourself then you will find the will power and determination.
Don’t waste your time feeling yuck. Don’t give a s*#* what other people think.
Lift your head! You are worthy and you are strong! We all lose the will every once in. While by the changes you have made to you lifestyle have been huge. It’s one step at a time. So take one step each day. Today pick your water back up. By Sunday you can be back to drinking as much water as you where before. Then Monday pick your protein shakes back up. Don’t think you have to change it all over night. Because when you do it’s overwhelming. One step each day! You can do it!
Look how far you’ve come! You can do ANYTHING. Just think how daily life was when you were that big, the hardest part was when you first decided to change. This is just a little blip in the road and you’ve got this, I PROMISE you. Believe in yourself but most importantly LOVE yourself for everything that you are and everything that you want to be.
